Yes, yes, I know this a food blog disguised with Cupolas, but, when it tastes this good what do you expect? If you haven’t visited these parishes for the food, please do, and let

In British Columbia three parishes have Ukrainian food for sale:
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Vancouver offers a regular first Friday Night Piogi supper from 5-8pm where they feed about 400 people on average! They also have been featured on the news with the line leading out of the hall, and other articles see their Pirogy page for all the articles and video. See the article “Heaven is a plate of Pierogies” Now you have another excuse to visit big, beautiful, BC.
The Ukrainian Church of St Mary in Surrey, BC offers a Friday Supper every last Friday of the month. They also sell every Saturday 10am-1pm frozen cabbage rolls, Kubasa, perogies, Borscht and sausage!
St Mary the Protectress on Vancouver, Island a new parish is also offering occasional pyrohy suppers fundraisers. You can’t beat a dinner for $10.00 maybe they should call it a value meal! They are also selling Frozen Pyrohy at the parish from 10-noon on the first Saturday of the month. 5 Dollars buys you a dozen! Unbelievable what a deal!
On the US side:
The Ukrainians of St John the Baptist in Portland also sell Perogies / Вареники and other wonderful Ukrainian foods on Saturdays:
