Well, actually, Baskin-Robbins is having a .31¢ ice cream sale with all the proceeds going to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This is a nationwide event from 5-10pm. So enjoy some ice for a good cause-it always tastes better on Bright Wednesday!
Bummer! I read the entry too late to participate, but oh well. I have to laugh as I share with you, though. I put Haagan Daaz in my Pascha Basket this year. Of course it didn’t stay solid…so it ended up being a milkshake instead of ice cream, but yeah, It still tasted real good at the Pascha banquet at church just the same
I just couldn’t resist posting that. This is mostly a bulletin board but I can’t resist putting in an occasional zinger. Haagen Daz does taste pretty good no matter what temp. I like my ice cream mushy! But that is the first I have heard of putting ice cream in a Pascha Basket. Next time pack with dry ice! If you make the Pascha (cheese) you don’t need ice cream. ; )
