What a difference in a year, eh? sorry the kites didn’t fly, but what a fun tradition!
Kite flying on Clean Monday is a Greek tradition. I really like it we have done it for years. Of course when we lived in S CA, we just went to the beach sent up the kites, and tied them to driftwood. Here in the NW it is more hit and miss, and generally your not going in the water!
