Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Butte, Montana
50 VARIETIES FOR YOUR TASTING PLEASURE
“Holy Trinity Parish wishes to invite all our Orthodox neighbors (and your friends) to enjoy good food, wine and fellowship at our 6th Annual Celebration of Wine Thursday Oct. 4 at our church Social Hall.
It’s a great excuse for an overnight or even a long weekend get-away to beautiful Butte. We would love to see you at Saturday Vespers (5:30 pm) and/or Sunday’s Divine Liturgy (10 am).
Doors open to the wine tasting at 6 pm on Oct. 4 for an informal but elegant evening of really tasty appetizers, 50 wines to sample, a Starbucks coffee corner, and wonderful desserts. An extra bonus is an opportunity to win 50 bottles of wine in a limited ticket raffle ($50, only 100 tickets sold) for your own dinners and parties, or to use as gifts.
One bottle of each variety available for tasting will make up the collection, and tickets can be purchased even if you can’t join us for the tasting event. The winner need not be present to win but will need to make arrangements to pick up the 50 bottles of wine in Butte.
Fr. Russell Radoicich, previously a professional enologist-viticulturist who has spent 30 years in the field, will also teach a class on how to appreciate and taste wine on Sunday Sept. 16 (3 pm) if you can join us then, too. Cost of the class is included in your Celebration of Wine ticket of $45, or for $5 if you cannot come to the tasting on Oct. 4.
Call Susan Radoicich at 723-7889 or Toni Sullivan at 865-0081 to arrange for a ticket for either the 50 bottle raffle or the 50 bottle tasting, or to reserve a spot at the wine appreciation class.”
