St Spiridon’s feeding the Homeless-Seattle, WA

Per Fr Yuri at St Spiridon’s (this is an ongoing program) :

“I am glad that you’ve noticed our new program in St. Spiridon.  We have started to feed homeless in the area around the church a few months ago and it is still in a very small scale. Even the number of our visitors has increased from 12 to 25 during this time, but we do not expect this number to grow over 45. We feed them with soup, sandwiches and fruits on the last Saturday of the month.  It is very easy to prepare, easy to serve and doesn’t cost much. At this time we have plenty of volunteers from our parish to do cooking, serving and cleaning.

If someone would like to contribute to the program they may do so by writing a check to St. Spiridon (memo: Feed the Hungry).

In Christ,

Priest Yuri Maev, Rector”
