Theophany on Willamette River, Oregon-Brrr!

St John the Wonder Worker Parish in  Eugene, Oregon celebrates Theophany

“Our Theophany service was on Wednesday morning, January 19th, at 7 a.m.
After Matins and Liturgy, we had a blessed and hearty group go down to the edge of
the Willamette River and Father David Lubliner blessed the high-running water.
Parishoners Tim and Katherine dove in after the cross in the blessed and frigid river!
CHRIST IS BAPTIZED! IN THE JORDAN RIVER!”  Courtesy of Mark Jaquette

Looks like Fr David is going to throw the Cross across the river!
