Enchanted Island Radio Program for Children hosted by St Innocent Academy

To all OrthodoxNorthwest readers with children;  St Innocent’s Academy in Alaska will be hosting The Enchanted Island a 30minute radio program featuring stories, games, folk songs, poems and contests.   They can be heard in Kodiak,  Alaska on KMXT 100.1 FM and on the internet KMXT.ORG at 10 AM AST or 11 am PST time. Click on the Tune In button on the upper right side.  The internet server connection is limited to the first 50 people to log on as a first come first served basis.  Their show will run thru April 23rd of this year.  If you can’t log on to the server please let the radio show know so they can add additional web streaming.

For those not familiar with the Academy their live performances include Celtic, Italian, Russian and other folk songs and dancing with traditional Alaskan dances and music.  They put on a spirited and joyful show.   Below are 2 Youtube videos of the Academy performing live:   Cossack dancing ,  Reindeer Herding Song.
