Prosphora

Proskomedia Preparation. “Again we pray for blessed memory and remission of sins for the blessed Founders of this holy Church. And remember, O Lord, all Orthodox Patriarchs, Bishops, Priests, Deacons, and Monastics, and all our fathers and brethren who have fallen asleep in thy communion in the hope of resurrection unto life eternal, O Lord, who lovest mankind.”

The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple Joyous Feast to All!

St. John Orthodox Church-Kennewick, WA (FB) is celebrating the Ιερό Σαρανταλείτουργο /Sarantaliturgo of Christmas meaning 40 days of Liturgy for the Nativity Fast.  Most of the Liturgies will start at 06:30 but check the calendar.  So if your in the area get up early and join them this Fast if your able.  Are there any other parishes in the NW doing the same?  Please let me know so I can add them to the post.
