Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

Three HierarchsThree Hierarchs Church  is Celebrating it’s Feast Day Jan 26’th in Wenatchee, Washington.

” I am happy to announce that, with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Joseph, our 3rd Annual Feast Day Retreat will feature Father Paul Jaroslaw, pastor of Holy Prophet Elijah Mission in Ellensburg, WA.

Fr. Paul, a dynamic speaker and story-teller, will speak in a very practical way on how to fulfill our Lord Jesus Christ’s commandment for us to bear our cross and follow Him.  He will emphasize the teaching of Saint Innocent of Alaska, an amazingly persevering and resourceful Christian missionary to the Alaskan native tribes in the 19th century.  St. Innocent’s teaching, which is consistent with that of all the Saints of the Church, is presented in a most straight-forward and comprehensible way for us today.

All of us can greatly benefit by how the Lord calls us to deal with the sufferings and struggles we are confronted with in this world, both outside and within us.  These crosses can either lead us to God-given peace and spiritual strength or frustration and anxiety depending upon our response.

The retreat will be held at Three Hierarchs Church at 112 N. Wenatchee Avenue.  A schedule and brief biography of our speaker is provided below.  Please clear you calendar for that day to attend this most inspiration retreat! The information has been posted to the Home Page of our website or you can go directly to http://www.wenorthodox.com/2012/12/annual-parish-feast-day-retreat-the-way-of-the-cross-with-fr-paul-jaroslav/”
