New Orthodox Chorus Looking for Singers in Portland Oregon, 2013

As posted first on OrthodoxPortland:

St. Nicholas Orthodox Church‘s director of music, Rdr. Tracey (John) Edson, is exploring the founding of a new chorus. The purpose of this choir is to collect skilled singers to present, twice a year, a major work of Orthodox liturgical music. The commitment would be limited to preparation for these two events, so would not be continuous.

If you would like to learn more about this project and participate in an audition, contact Tracey at or 593-421-0488.

The choir is being formed under the leadership of St. Nicholas’ rector, Archpriest George A. Gray, and it’s parish council.
