Bulgarian Days! At the Parish of St Michael the Archangel/СРПСКА ПРАВОСЛАВНА  ЦРКВА  СВ. АРХАНГЕЛ  МИХАИЛО  –  ВАНКУВЕР   in Burnaby, BC.


On behalf of the Bulgarian Canadian Society of BC, we would like to invite you to the FIRST BULGARIAN FESTIVAL.
The Festival
The festival will take place on September 15, from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the St. Archangel Michael’s Serbian Orthodox Church in Burnaby. It will feature musical and dance performances by groups from various countries. The festival will also offer traditional Bulgarian dishes, such as kebapcheta (grilled minced meat with spices) and burek (feta cheese pie) as well as a cash bar – beer, wine and liqueur will be served to guests.
This year, for the first time ever, the Festival will be held at the St. Archangel Michael’s – Serbian Orthodox Church at 7837 Canada Way
Burnaby, BC V3N 3K8.
The Spirit of the Festival
The Festival will be a family-friendly event, with a special area dedicated just for kids and will include multiple fun activities, such as face painting and a puppet theater presenting engaging and educational stories for our little guests. There will be also a movie night for all ages.
The Activities
One notable activity at the Festival will be the mini soccer and backgammon tournaments organized for the first time!
