Alexander Pantages:  From Poor Greek to 

Seattle Theater Genius and Hollywood Scandal Story

The story of Alexander Pantages is one that Dr. Taso G .Lagos has researched for several years and is an epic struggle of poverty-to-riches against the backdrop of business treachery, anti-immigrant sentiment and butting of titanic egos involving Joseph P. Kennedy and press baron, William Randolph Hearst.

Please join us on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption Community Hall   located at 1804 13th Avenue in Seattle.  Light fare and beverages will be served.  Reservations requested

Dr. Lagos received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington where he teaches and is Program Director, Greece Study Abroad Programs in Hellenic Studies at the Jackson School of International Studies, UW and founder of the Athens study abroad program.  He is also a regular contributor to the opinion-editorial pages of the Seattle Times.
