Vancouver BC:

This year, there will be two events held at St. Kevork church to observe the 102nd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide:
Sunday, April 23rd – Holy Badarak, Fatherr. Serop Azarian. 11:00 a.m.
Following the Badarak, we will have a cultural program commemorating the Armenian Genocide, 1:00 p.m.
Monday, April 24th – Remembrance of the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide – Memorial Service, Fr. Serop Azarian accompanied by some short speeches, laying of flowers at the Genocide Memorial in the church courtyard. 6:308:30 p.m.
Also as previously posted there is the Movie the Promise premiering this weekend.  This is a movie which sheds a bit of light on a tragic Historic event that is little known in our society.  In light of todays events it is especially important to let people know of the suffering of Christians.  (Please note I am not commenting on the quality of the movie, nor it’s appropriateness for all ages, nor whether it maintains Christian morality.  Editor.)

Watch the Promise Movie THIS WEEKEND!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As many of you know the film “The Promise”, produced by Survival Pictures and financed by the late legendary Kirk Kerkorian, will be premiering in theater locations across North America on Friday, April 21, 2017. The film, set with the backdrop of the Armenian Genocide, is the first time a wide release film will feature our history in nearly 1,500 theaters in the US and Canada.

We are reaching out to you for support, since it is imperative to stand behind this film and ensure its success. The opening weekend’s box office sales are critical in securing a long theatrical run for the film. It is for this reason that we are encouraging you to mobilize your friends and family to see the film in theaters April 21 to 23.

Attached are the lists of movie theaters and show times on Friday and Saturday.

Please do your part in helping the world learn the truth about Armenian Genocide!
