Dominus regit me

Psalm 22 ( 23 as numbered in KJB)

(A Psalm of David.)  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.   King James Bible.

For Nicolas, his family and loved ones, the Parish of St Herman’s and all those involved in the search for him.

Κύριε, ἐλέησον.   Κύριε, ἐλέησον.   Κύριε, ἐλέησον.

(Note OrthoNW does not normally post prayer requests.  There are simply too many needs and it would be impossible to post in a timely manner. Additionally what if prayers were posted for one Priest for example but not another.  People might think the site is playing favourites.  Also there are personal/privacy issues that make it best not shared on Public site as this.  OrthoNW recently posted information about Abbot Tryphon after he was punched but he posted it on a public forum first, and is a public figure in the Orthodox Community.  This is an exception as it is of a serious nature, and an appeal to the public)

“UPDATE: Hunt intensifies for missing Langley man

Nicholas Sonier hasn’t been seen since Monday and didn’t show up for work: police”  BC Local News

As of Sept 20, 2019, the website does not have any new information.
