Newest Mission in the NW Dedicated to St John of Shanghai and San Francisco

Feast of St John of Shanghai & San Francisco

A Joyous Feast to all and glad tidings:  The newest formed mission in the NW has been Blessed by Archbishop Kyrill to be named after St John of Shanghai and San Francisco in the Tri-Cities, Wa.  They have a building and a mortgage but no website at this time.  This, I believe, will be the first ROCOR parish dedicated to St John.  Correction I have been informed that the Eastern Diocese established the Parish of St. John, Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco in 2008.  This mission will be the first Parish in the Western Diocese of ROCOR dedicated to Vladyka John.  It is connected with St Silouan in Walla Walla, Wa.  For service times and other information please contact Fr Jesse – frjesse@gmail.com    .   (A picture of the parish will be added as soon as possible to this post)  Happy Feast to both of the other Parish’s dedicated to St John in the NW- St John the Wonderworker in Eugene, Or and St John of Shanghai in Vancouver, BC.
